Milan have shown a strong sign of solidarity with Clarence Seedorf and Thiago Silva having visited club president Silvio Berlusconi following the attack he suffered on Sunday.

The Italian prime minister needed hospital treatment after a man threw a souvenir statue in his face during a rally in Milan on Sunday evening. He suffered broken teeth and cuts to his face.

La Repubblica reports both Seedorf and Silva went to the San Raffaele hospital in Milan to deliver a message of support on behalf of all the team. The players took time off from their training schedule to visit their president.

The report claims Berlusconi will be kept under observation at the hospital after waking up with pains in his neck and head on Wednesday morning
